Karma; as we all know it can be a….well, you know.
The Brewers, behind their left fielder Ryan Braun, have reignited enthusiasm within the Crew’s fan base.
Braun is having an incredible season thus far, he ranks in the top ten in the national league in almost every important offensive category.
* 5th in batting average (.312)
* 7th in on base percentage (.387)
* 1st in slugging percentage (.602)
* 1st in home runs (40)
* 2nd in rbi’s (103)
* 3rd in overall hits (168)
* 2nd in runs scored (95)
You put those numbers together and that would normally equal an MVP performance. Not this year. With Braun’s off-season PED accusations, he won’t garner much consideration no matter how well the Brewers do.
Interesting, some say Matt Kemp of the Dodgers should have won the MVP last season when Braun in fact took the award. This year, Braun deserves it and won’t get a sniff.
Karma!
