According to MLB Network's Ken Rosenthal, the Brewers are nearing a deal with free agent RHP Jhoulys Chacin. Chacin, who turns 30 in January, had a solid season for San Diego last year. He was 13-10, with a 3.89 ERA, 180.1 innings pitched in 32 starts, 153 SO/72 Walks.

MILWAUKEE - He's back. Free agent pitcher Yovani Gallardo and the Brewers have agreed to terms for a reunion. Gallardo was traded to the Texas Rangers in 2015 after eight seasons in Milwaukee. He has since played for the Baltimore Orioles and, most recently, the Seattle Mariners. Full story here .
