Bucks, While Exciting; Hope Fades / Gallardo Bounces Back

Posted in Uncategorized
The atmosphere was electric at the Bradley Center as the New York Knicks rolled in to town for, what  seemed to be, a playoff game for a playoff spot.  Milwaukee and New York battled back and for for 4 complete quarters.  The fans were emotionally vested in every shot, every possession, every rebound.  As time dwindled, the energy crescendoed with 1:45 to go when Monta Ellis hit a big 3, giving him 35 points for the night.  That bucket put the Bucks up 105-103.  After that, the Bucks were outscored 8-2 and that was all she wrote for the Bucks and most-likely, their playoff chances.… Read the rest

Greinke Must Be Signed

Posted in Uncategorized
Shortstop Alcides Escobar, centerfielder Lorenzo Cain and pitching prospects Jake Odorizzi and Jeremy Jeffress, the future of the Milwaukee Brewers, were the keys to ignite the Zack Greinke trade.  Quite a steep price to garner the services of a former Cy Young Award winner. Woods’ Tantrums Are No Longer Acceptable

Posted in Uncategorized
Congratulations to Bubba Watson on a thrilling victory in the 76th Masters, he certainly deserves the accolades.  His spontaneous tears and emotion drew us all in, revealed an honest passion.  A truly appreciative champion has been given the prestigious green jacket and we all were left with lasting memories. While I watched the compelling climax to one of golf’s most historic events, I couldn’t help but notice the way each player, in the final 3 groups, handled their success and misfortunes.  My train of thought then traveled to what I had witnessed earlier in the tournament; Tiger Woods and his childish, unprofessional, elitist displays of anger, frustration and his self-serving outbursts.… Read the rest

The Week…

Posted in Uncategorized
We have a new champion in college basketball, the Masters is about to get underway and Opening Day is on the horizon…..is this the best week in sports? First let me say that I’m not a Kentucky fan but I do have to give props to John Calipari and his Wildcats.  To take 5, possibly 6, NBA first-rounders and get them to play as a complete team, it was a masterful season and championship run.  Defense, passing the basketball and running a motion offense that helps one another to get an open look, inside or out, was a pleasure to watch.… Read the rest
