Cutler & Finley Need To Stop Talking

The Packers beat the Bears 23-10 in the 185th meeting between these two storied franchises.

For the moment, Packers fans have come back in off the ledge while Bears fans are taking their patio furniture out there.

Two players who participated in this meeting spoke out, in a cocky, almost verbose manner.  Jay Cutler almost dared the Packers defense to play man to man on Chicago’s wide-outs and went as far as to tell them “good luck” if they chose to take him up on his public dare.  Jermichael Finley told the media, less than a week ago, that he wants to be known as one of the greatest tight ends to ever play in the NFL.

The common thread between these two outspoken opponents; their dismal failure when the lights came on.  Cutler was sacked 7 times and threw 4 picks and was caught on camera yelling at his left tackle and even his head coach.  Finley dropped a pass, fumbled and whiffed at least two times as a blocker.

The bottom line; great players don’t need to talk, they let their play and leadership on the field speak for itself…..just ask Clay Matthews….he won’t tell ya.
