It’s time to take matters into your hands fans.
The season ticket holders money, sponsors money, the NFL has it already and it’s in the bank. It’s the discretionary dollars that are still in your pocket. Parking at the stadium, beer money, food money, money for shirts, foam fingers, cheese heads, jerseys, jackets….the pro shop money, you can make a statement there my friends.
A good idea has been proposed; Fans, go the game, support the surrounding businesses, parking lots and such but don’t spend a dime at the game. Then, after the first half is complete, walk out. Imagine the scene when Fox comes back to Lambeau for the second half of the Saints / Packers game and no one is there.
Yes, this will hurt the Packers a bit but this isn’t about just the Packers, it’s about a league who has turned it’s back on the very fans who make it possible.
You pay a premium for tickets to see lackluster preseason and regular season games. In return the league is providing you with a less than premium product.
Packers fans….NFL fans unite. The only way this works it with solidarity.
Remember, one army of a thousand makes more of a statement than a thousand armies of only one
