The old adage, “where there’s smoke there’s fire” has pretty much proven true throughout my life. In the case of Jermichael Finley and his agent, I believe it to be consistently true no matter how much the Packers tight end tries to distance himself from his agent’s statement.
In case you haven’t heard, Finley’s agent Blake Baratz, recently tweeted, “ARod is a great QB he isn’t a great leader. There’s a major difference. Leaders take the blame & make every1 better. He doesn’t.”
Finaley immediately tried to backpedal from Baratz’s statement with his own tweet, “@AaronRodgers12 is our leader, period. … Family can disagree it makes us all stronger.”
I know Baratz is entitled to his own opinion but is it really his own opinion or is he merely parroting what he’s been told?
Thus far in just 2 games this year, Jermichael Finley has a lost fumble, dropped 3 passes, numerous missed blocks and inconsistent route running and now and agent that’s calling into question the leadership capabilities of the quarterback of the most historic franchise in all of football.
Jermichael Finely has all of the talent and ability in the world but his own attention, or lack thereof, to detail is costing him a career that was filled with such promise. After all, if you’re labeled as a player with great potential but never realize it…..your next label will be BUST
