Not A Good PR Day For The NBA

Some things we learned today in regards to the NBA;
- The Bucks new owners want to make a splash and they’ll look you in the eye and lie right to your face. It might be the right move but they don’t have much tact when it comes to getting from point A to B.
- Jason Kidd is, and has always seemed to be, an ego. If his ability is half as good as what he believes it to be, then the Bucks will be in good hands. Time will tell. If he fails, this move will set the organization back years in both talent evolution and credibility.
- Word comes out that Lebron James wants a “max deal”. While he’s the best player on the planet, it’s now evident that since he already has his two rings, he now needs to put that hardware in a $22 million case….per year. The king wants to win but only if he’s the highest paid player.
- The Chicago Bulls Derrick Rose doesn’t feel like it is his job to recruit free agent Carmelo Anthony. This is the same guy who hasn’t really played in 2 years and continues to be PR nightmare for the Chicago franchise by his stupid comments and sheer misguided selfishness, which has reared its ugly head again.
All of the above examples, make the league look exactly like the stereotype it’s trying to overcome.
