The Packers have climbed back to 2-2 on the season despite some horrible officiating over the last 2 games. Green Bay’s offense seems to have found a rhythm and the run game has become a necessary evil, yet viable.
The Dom Capers led defensive secondary has somewhat reverted back to its incommunicative self and the pass rush, this past weekend, could be pictured on the side of a milk carton. These are all issues that reign supreme in the front of every Packers fan’s mind.
Let me give you a little perspective here. Chuck Pagano spoke with reporters a week ago and told them, “We’ll see you back here after the bye week”. Well a week has gone by and Pagano is not back at the Indianapolis Colts’ podium. The head coach is in a hospital with the diagnosis of a treatable form of Leukemia.
Each week, through the wonderment of sports, we escape the tracks that guide our everyday lives. Packers fans are faithful and will travel in droves as they take over Lucas Oil Field in Indianapolis this coming weekend.
Packers fans are the most knowledgeable, passionate football fans in the land, without a doubt. So when it comes to Sunday, I’m not so much looking forward to a Packers “W” as I am the class displayed by Packers nation.
Get well coach!
