The NFL and the officials have finally reached an agreement and now the Packers and their fans can move on from Monday night’s disaster.
Beyond the erroneous call, the Packers need to realize that their offense just isn’t very good right now. The lack of adjustments, the inability to keep defenses at bay with a semblance of a run game, a porous offensive line and dropped passes, all of these issues are still prevalent and need to be corrected before this 1-2 team can venture back towards respectability.
Here are a few offensive facts for you to ponder:
The Packers are 19th in scoring, 25th in yards per game, 15th in 3rd down percentage, 22nd in passing yards per game and 28th in rush yards per game.
Those are ominous figures for a team that led the league in almost every one of those categories last year.
After Sunday, believe it or not, a quarter of the NFL season will be over, will the Packers playoff hopes be almost over as well?
