Rodgers; Is He Elite With The Game On The Line?

There is a growing number that reflects negatively on the Packers and more specifically Aaron Rodgers; 4th quarter come backs.

I know, I know, early on in Rodgers starting career he was the victim of a porous defense and a shaky kicker but the stats are piling up.

For example;
*  Rodgers career record, with the ball in his hand late in the 4th quarter, with a win still feesible, is 3-20.  That record compares with Bill Kenney of the 80′s Chiefs who went 3-27 for his career.

Bill who….my point exactly.

*  Since 1960, 26 quarterbacks have produced in one season as many game-winning drives (6) as Rodgers has produced in his career.

Now Rodgers can’t be penalized for getting his team out to big leads, leads that his team would never relinquish, nor have many of those QBs who are seemingly better than him in the 4th quarter, ever won 19 games in a row including a Super Bowl and a league MVP.

The truth lies somewhere in between….but the fact is, with the game on the line, in the 4th quarter, Rodgers has got to get his team to perform better.  Remember, we give the quarterbacks all the credit for wins, in that same spirit, they have to shoulder the blame in a loss as well.

    Rodgers can’t carry this team by himself, you lose Raji, Finley(did he really hurt shoulder or embarassed from the drops again), lost running back when in first half was really clicking. And you mean to tell me that they couldn’t double up on Wayne? He did make some suspect throws but recievers are not holding onto ball even Driver dropped an easy one, Rodgwers gets killed when he holds onto ball too long this offense is designed to strike quick with pinpoint passes.
