USATSI_9812648_168381909_lowresYou have the deed to your house, in your hand.   You have to bet it on one team; the Green Bay Packers or the Atlanta Falcons.  Who are you betting on?

The red hot Aaron Rodgers?  The likely league MVP?

Here’s my logic and you tell me what you would do.

Rodgers is on fire.  Ryan is playing even better.
Rodgers has been there, done that.  Ryan has faltered in the post-season numerous times before.
If you would consider these 2 players as the best QB’s in the NFC right now, then in essence they would cancel each other out correct?
That leaves us with the remaining rosters.
If that’s the case, then you would consider the offense of the Falcons just as good as the Packers weaponry correct?  OK, so the offenses cancel each other out.
That leaves us with the defenses.
IF Randall’s foot injury heals up…. IF Rollins gets out of the concussion protocol and is able to play… IF Burnett’s quad is better and he’s able to play without hindrance….then I would consider this game to be a pickem.
BUT….we’ll have to wait and see.
After what I saw in the Dallas game, the Packers D is woeful in the secondary right now and consistent pressure on the quarterback is almost nonexistent coming from the Packers.

You add that up with home field advantage and I ask you….who would you bet on?

I like the packers to win because Matt Ryan has to prove it, yes Atl beat Seattle but they are Jekyll and hyde type of team in seattle. Also it’s hard to beat the same team again in the playoffs. Matt ryan was in the same exact situation against the niners in 2013 at home couldn’t get the job done. If I wasa betting man i’d bet on the packers in a close one.
